GEORGIA GHOSTS BY NANCY ROBERTS (1997) This is by far one of the author’s best books and includes a number of haunted locations which have never appeared in print before, from Savannah, down the Georgia coast and across the state. The ghosts of Savannah open the book (with lots of haunted spots related to Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil for those with an interest) and takes a tour of the state from St. Simon’s Island to Andersonville to the home of Doc Holliday to Georgia’s own version of Stonehenge. There are over 55 stories in the book, which makes it a must-have for ghost book readers! $10.95

GHOSTS OF THE GEORGIA COAST by Don Farrant (2002) This nicely done haunted history book should have great interest outside of the Golden Isles region of the Georgia coast -- if for no other reason that the vast and varied hauntings that it recounts. Travel along with the author as he paints a colorful picture of crumbling slave cabins, plantation homes, former mansions, ancient forts and even an abandoned hospital. The stories here will give you the chills (keep the lights on!) and include hauntings like ghost of St. Simons Island, Orange Hall, Dungeness, Ebo Landing, the ghost horse of Jekyll Island and much more. This is a wonderful area of the country and this book makes a great addition to its rich lore! $9.95
